| | Overlijdensbericht | MARLETTE-Edna May Harris, 88, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro.
She was born June 17, 1911, in Kingston, the daughter of the late Arthur and May (McCracken) Van Blaircom.
She was a life long resident. Edna owned the Coffee Cup Cafe in Marlette for many years.
She is survived by three sons, Clinton (Elly) Sadler, Lansing; Richard (Bette) Sadler, Engadine; Keith (Ilene) Sadler, California; two daughters, Mona (Kurt) Schaefer, Columbiaville; Dona (Walter) Svoboda, Kingston; 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Harris, on October 6, 1977; a brother, Foster Van Blaircom, and a sister, Amy Kelly.
Funeral services were held at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette, with Rev. Kenneth Parker officiating.
Burial was in the Marlette Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Dennis Svoboda, Greg Schaefer, Gary Schaefer, Reed Schaefer, Shawn Ramsey, and Trevor Baer. |
