ObituaryA funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in Finley Sunset Hills Mortuary for Nita Marie Galloway, who died Feb. 10 at age 90.
Mrs. Galloway was born May 17, 1909, in Portland. Her maiden name was Van Blaricom. She was a homemaker and owned two motels on the Oregon coast until moving back to Portland in 1964. She married Alden G. Hunt in 1926; he died in 1970. She married Arthur J. Galloway in 1974; he died in 1999.
Survivors include brothers, Ervin Van Blaricom and Cleman Van Blaricom; sisters, Eve Hanson, Betty Carter and Marie Leistiko; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Finley Sunset Hills Memorial Park.

ObituaryA memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2000, in the Fountains Ball Room for Arthur John Galloway, who died Dec. 24, 1999, at age 82.
Mr. Galloway was born Sept. 6, 1917, in Portland. He graduated from Commerce High School, now Cleveland. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and also was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a furniture manufacturer for Builtwell Furniture for nine years and also worked at the Umatilla Army Depot in Hermiston, retiring in 1973. He married Nita M. Hunt in 1974.
Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Omega Funeral & Cremation Service.
