| Overlijdensbericht | Alberta Van Blarcom, 76, of Toms River passed away on August 6, 2016 peacefully with her family by her side.
Alberta was born November 1, 1939 in Elizabeth to Albert and Helen Gliet. She worked at Ocean County Memorial Park in the 80's and was an avid member of the American Legion Post 129. She enjoyed spending time with her family, vacationing with friends, crafting, and gardening. Alberta was a social butterfly and if you had the pleasure of knowing her, she always had fun and something to chat about.
Alberta is predeceased by her husband, William J. Van Blarcom, Sr. She leaves behind her 4 children and their spouses, Lynn Bertolini, Sharon Mennona, William Van Blarcom,Jr., and Sandra Van Blarcom; her 7 grandchildren, Michael Bertolini, Michelle Bertolini, Shannon Lucasiewicz, Robby Mennona, Joseph Bertolini, Will Van Blarcom, and Alexandria Van Blarcom; her great grandchild Emily Lucasiewicz; her sister, Helen Gaffney and brother, Edward Gliet, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
Per her wishes, there will be no wake service; so friends and family are invited to the funeral service Thursday, August 11, 2016 12:00pm at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home in Toms River.
