On September 26, 2003 ALICE G. BUTTERFIELD, (nee VAN BLARCOM) of Jarrettsville, MD formerly of Drexel Hill, PA and Montgomery County, MD.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur Chewker Butterfield, Robert E. Hagan, and William H. Martin; devoted mother of David L. Martin, William H. Martin Jr., Linda J. Jones, and Beth A. Craven; step-mother of Patrick J. Hagan. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Fallston Presbyterian Church, Fallston, MD on Tuesday, September 30, at 3:30 p.m.. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 8600 LaSalle Rd., Suite 314, Chester Building, Baltimore, MD 21286.
