OverlijdensberichtLEWISTOWN - Jean G. Rosenstengel, 70, of 40 Spanogle Ave. died yesterday in Lewistown Hospital.
She a retired physical education and health teacher in the Mifflin County School District at Lewistown High School, and was a graduate of West Chester University. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Elks Lodge 663 Auxiliary, and the Mifflin County Retired School Employees. She served on the board of United Cerebral Palsy.
Surviving are a son; a sister, Rita Kreiger of Oneida; and a granddaughter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow in her church. Burial will be in Juniata Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Hoenstine Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church, Third and Dorcas streets, Lewistown 17044.
