ObituaryJohn Van Blaricom , 61, for 16 years an employe of the Tulare City Water department, died at a here early Monday morning, of double pneumonia. He had been ill only a few days.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Addie Van Blaricom of 308 north G street; one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Schultz of Visalia, and a granddaughter, Juanita Belknep Schultz.
Mr. Van Blaricom was a native of Longpier, Minnesota, and came to Tulare 22 years ago. He was a veteran employe of the water department and was one of the city's most valued and trusted workers.
City employes will act as pallbearers at the funeral services, which will be conducted from the Walter C. Rice funeral Home here at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Arthur rice of Tulare Congregational Church will officate. Interment will be in the family plot in the Tulare Cemetery.
